    Week 6

    Game Of The Week

Powell Valley Vikings at Clintwood Green Wave: HUGE distric tilt that will go down to the wire. PV will come flying high after the big win over Norton, while Clintwood will look to regroup after a tough loss at Lebanon. This one's going to be 4 quarters of hell, and I got a funny feeling that 4 will not decide it. 21-14 Wave in OT at home.

Patrick Henry at Appalachia: The Rebels got a hard introduction to LPD football earlier this season when they were massacred 51-14 on Kelly's Reservation. They'll not find the Dawghouse any more pleasant. Roger's crew gets it done 34-14.

Coeburn at J.I.Burton: I'm assuming this is Burton's Homecoming? If it isn't then it should be. The Knights are used to being Homecoming patsies, having been JJK's 48-0 last week (what has happened to that once-proud program? Back in the day you did not schedule the Blue Crew for Homecoming). I'd say Jimbo is going to work his boys like a government mule this week, and an angry Raider squad will hammer the crew from Coeburn 44-6.

J.J.Kelly at Rye Cove: I was told that Rye Cove would be better this year, but after hearing of the loss to Castlewood,I have to wonder. The TRIBE'S raiding war party will send the feathers flying as they pluck the Warbirds 49-0. Just a score would be a moral victory here for the War Eagles.

Im gonna have to agree. We have 2 of the best backs in the league and probably the biggest and youngest line in the league, but we have a problem somewhere. We pushed the ball all over Castlewood and had a back with 198 rushing and still lost. Im clueless and if we dont shape up soon we are looking at a 1-9 season and might not even beat Ervington. Dont get me wrong i know we can do it but we have to put a whole game together.

They'll eventually have to play someone with a football team. Then the rubber will meet the road.

Be funny as hell if they hand out a big ol' ****burger for some folks to eat won't it? Like I said before, all the kids from JJK can do right now is stay focused and handle the next 2 teams, and they'll see what they have when PV comes calling.

Do not count the rebels out they are young and improving every game. They will give RC a good game when they meet.

Is Bluefield really supposed to be that good this year? Don't know anything about 'em.
